At Advanced Composite Solutions, we have experience in designing and manufacturing a wide range of Carbon Fibre light-weight electronics or camera enclosures. Some of these have needed GRP GPS window areas within the laminate, or core materials and inserts for higher loaded mounting points.

We have experience of EMC needs/compliance and can offer a range of conductive materials or meshes that can be used within the laminate to improve performance, or mounting areas for connectors to act as super conductive ground planes.

We are also experienced in using silver loaded conductive epoxies to bond aluminium CNC metal work to enclosures and using copper gaskets. Many designs we have worked on use either CNC machined bonded aluminium drilled and taped frames or CNC machined holes and counter sinks with stainless Rivsert inserts for easy fixing of access panels or bolting to super structures e.t.c.

Using our Thermwood 5-axis CNC machine, we can trim holes or features on moulded components to ensure accuracy and repeatability.
